Job Enquiry Revenue

Overview:

This tab displays Job Sales Invoices and Contract Claims for the job that is being enquired on, providing a quick list of revenue sources with links to the invoice itself.

Screen Guide:

Ensure the Filter covers the time period you want to see invoices for.

  • Inv/Cr shows whether the line is an Invoice or Credit. If Revenue Journals were used to create revenue on the Job, they will alsodisplay here, and it will be displayed as Revenue Journal instead of Invoice or Credit.

  • Invoice No is the Invoice/Credit/RCTI/BCI number of the line. It also serves as a link to open the invoice details in Job Sales Invoices.

  • Claim No shows which claim number this invoice represents if the invoice is a Contract Claim.

  • Claim Date is the date the Contract Claim was made, which is different to the final Invoice date.

  • Date is the invoice date for the document.

  • Year/Period is the financial period the document was created in.

  • Title is the billing title, defaulting to the job description, but can be modified in Job Maintenance.

  • Status can be one of the following:

    • Entered means that it has been created, but not yet approved. It may or may not need additional data before being approved.

    • Approved means that an authorised approver has clicked approved for this document, indicating that it is ready to be sent to the client. It can be unapproved at any time and edited.

    • Sent means that the document was finalised and implies that the invoice was actually sent to the client. It can be unfinalised, but a copy of each sent invoice will be attached to the claim.

    • Updated means that the invoice has been exported with its batch to the financial software. The claim cannot be edited to retain consistency with the financial software.

    • Cancelled means that someone clicked cancel in the claim, removing all data but leaving a record of the cancelled claim.

  • LC Prepayments is the Local Currency amount for any Prepayments done for this Job.

  • LC Revenue is the Local Currency total monetary value of the document.

  • FC Prepayments is the Foreign Currency amount for any Prepayments done for this Job.

  • FC Revenue is the Foreign Currency total monetary value of the document.
