Subcontract Claim Batch Entry

Overview:

On this screen you can add Subcontract Claims Tab to an existing Subcontract Claim Batch. There are many filtering options available, and the ability to close the batch from the same screen. To prevent lost claims, there is a report in the Print list that generates a listing of all claims still in the default batch.

Screen Guide:

The top section fields are pre populated with the batch details, but some may also be changed here.

There are extensive filtering options in the bottom section, giving you the ability to pinpoint exactly which subcontract claims you wish to include in this batch. In the above example, we are simply targeting all subcontract claims in Workbench between the Claim Date filters. If you only want to include one Subcontract, a single Job, or all of the claims of a single Subcontractor, you can do that as well.

Once you enter your targeted filter, click the Save button. The system will then look for all matching claims in the default batch (210000) and move them into this batch. A green bar will appear at the top when this is successful. To view which claims were brought in, click the Print button. There is a default batch report for your convenience by clicking the ^ button next to print and selecting "Print Default Batch".

If unintended claims were brought in, or if you need to start over, simply click the red Reset Batch button to return all of the claims in this batch to the default batch. If the claim itself is incorrect, you will need to return to the Subcontract Claim itself, unapprove it, and make changes.

Next Steps:

Once you have batch all of the claims you intended, you can click Close Batch and proceed to Export Control to export the claims to your financial system.
