Plant Locations
Overview:
Plant Locations are available for attaching to a Plant item to determine its physical location. Typically these will be sites where the plant is being used, or storage or maintenance locations where plant is kept when it is not in use, or when it is being serviced. Locations can then be grouped together using Plant Location Groups.
Screen Guide:
Location Group allows you to choose between existing Plant Location Groups.
Location Code is the code you want to represent this location.
Description is the detailed description of the location.
Manager is the User responsible for the location, generally the plant manager.
Default Job is the Job that can be defaulted to, such as a warehouse or lay-down yard job.
Inactive marks the location as inactive making it unselectable in future, but existing plant in that location must be manually moved.
Plan location history.
To view the list of history locations of a Plant: go to Plant item click on the search icon the Location section of the tab Main as in the screenshot below.
