Overview:

Stock Categories are used for grouping and analysing Stock List into meaningful categories. These categories can be further segregated by Stock Sub Categories.

Screen Guide:

Open

Enter a shorthand Code followed by the corresponding Description. Once a Stock Category has been used or has a Stock Sub Category linked to it, it cannot be deleted, but it can be made Inactive. Otherwise tick the Bin icon checkbox and Save to delete unused categories.
