Timesheets approval
Overview
Workbench enables the designation of primary, secondary, and administrative approvers for each Timesheet Group through the Control Parameter. In cases where a supervisor's approval is not necessary, the administrative authority can be assigned to the person responsible for managing payroll.
User Document: Timesheet Approvals
Employees must complete the timesheets before they can be reviewed.
Employees will only be displayed if they have the appropriate authority.
An individual cannot approve their own timesheets, even if they are the primary approver for their Timesheet Group.
Job manager approvals will not authorise the entire timesheet, but only the pertinent time entries, thus the approver must still examine it.
For companies with employees assigned to various jobs overseen by different Job Managers, Workbench offers a feature known as Job Manager Approval( or Daily Approval). This feature enables each Job Manager to review and approve the time logged by employees on a daily basis for the jobs they manage, prior to the final approval by the official approver.
Remember to approve any Expense Claims for employees if your company uses them.
