Email Status List
Overview:
This screen provides the means to check the status of Workbench system-generated emails.
Screen Guide:
To begin, enter the desired filter information to narrow down the results. Typically you would filter by Created Date equals today and Status equals Failed to query most recent email errors.
Select is used in conjunction with the Reset button to manually fix errors.
Email ID is a unique number given to the individual email.
From is the sending user, or otherwise blank if it is system generated.
To is the destination email address.
Subject is the headline of the email.
Created is the date and time of creation.
Processed is the date and time that the system attempted to send the email.
Status can be from the following list:
Unprocessed - the email was generated and is queued for sending
In Progress - the email is currently in the process of being sent
Succeeded - the email was sent successfully
Retry - the email could not be sent and will be retried up to a limit of 5 times
Failed - the email could not be sent after reaching the retry limit
Retry Count is the number of times the system tried to send the email resulting in failures
Error shows the reason why an email failed, if known.
Should an error outside the system be corrected, for example a network error, and you wish to manually reset emails to re-queued for sending, select the email to reset by ticking the Select checkbox and clicking Reset.
Next Steps:
If an email is marked as Succeeded yet the recipient has not received it in a reasonable amount of time, ensure that they have checked the spam/junk folder in the case of email filters. If the email cannot be located, please contact Workbench support to begin an investigation.
