Working Days & Hours

The length of the working day, and whether you work Saturdays and Sundays, is defined by Log Priority
The default position is determined by Control Parameters

  • 'Work Start Time', 'Work End Time' (both in 24 hour clock format e.g. 17:00) determine the length of the working day

  • 'Work Saturday' and 'Work Sunday' determine whether weekends are deemed working days

On the Log Priority Maintenance screen we also allow for specific settings of these values, per Priority Code.

If there is any value entered in either Start Time or End Time for a Priority Code, then all the settings for this priority Code, including the Work Saturday and Work Sunday flags, will be used.

If the Priority Code has no specific settings, the defaults as per the Control Parameters will apply.

The calculation of the Scheduled Date / Time is then the Log Date / Time plus the Schedule By Days or Hours, taking into account the length of the working day, and weekends, as described above.
