• Timesheets - invalid default TC:
  Fixed defaulted timecode derived from control parameter 'Default Time Time Code' for Activities that do not allow Time Codes.

Subcontracts

• Fixed Trust Account being deleted on Subcontract Claim after approval, when using Standard Approvals.

• Jobs Budgets:

    The i icon that links to the PO or WO linked to the line was not always showing up. This has been rectified.

Subcontracts

• Notification bell
  Messages sent from a Subcontract Claim to another Workbench user are displayed in the red bell at the top right. When a user opened the notification the link to the Subcontract Claim where the message originated was not working. This has been rectified.

• Work Order - separate work order permissions:
  Existing permission “Edit Work Orders” and “Uncomplete Work Order Line“ have been reviewed and changed so:
  “Uncomplete Work Order Line” can only uncomplete and not edit.
  “Edit Work Orders” does not allow uncompleting a Work Order.

• Further enhancements on Retention Trust Accounts reports:

  • Subcontract Retention Statement (wbSubcontractTransactions004):
    
    

    • report title changed from Subcontract Retention Transaction to Subcontract Retention Statement

    • The Profit Centre was removed from the report as Contractors do not know about this concept and it is irrelevant for them.

    • Improved formatting.
      
      

  • Subcontractor Payment Certificate (wbSubcontractClaim003):
    Revised rules for the displaying of Retention text and Trust Accounts details:
    
    

    A. Rules for Construction Contracts Act Text for New Zealand: “This is a report on retention money withheld from you as party B under subpart 2A of the Construction Contracts Act 2002. You may inspect the accounts and records that section 18FC of that Act requires us to keep in relation to retention money withheld from you.”

     

    1. NZD currency & Subcontract Retention value= $0 → text will not display

    2. NZD currency & Subcontract Retention value<> $0 → text will display

    3. NZD currency & Subcontract has Trust Account (regardless of Subcontract Retention value) → text will display
       
       

    B. Rules for the Trust Account Details section:

    1. Subcontract has no Trust account → section will not be displayed

    2. Subcontract has Trust account → section will be displayed
       
       

    C. The text below that references the Construction Contracts Amendment Act 2015 has been removed, as it is not required anymore:
    “Retentions in Trust: The Retention value held in Trust for this Subcontract in accordance with the Construction Contracts Amendment Act 2015 is NZD based on the Subcontract Awarded Date being 13 Sep 2023”
    
    

    D. The below warning message that appeared when no Awarded Date was set on the Subcontract has been removed.
    “The Awarded Date for this Subcontract has not been set. This is required for the management of Retentions under the Construction Contracts Amendment Act 2015.”
    
    For those wanting to warn users about the missing Awarded Date, there is a control parameter “BETA FEATURE - Subcontract Contract Awarded date required before subclaim” that can be turned on, and it will warn users and stop them from creating a new Subcontract Claim until the Date has been populated in the Subcontract Dates tab. Note that this will be enabled for all Subcontracts, existing and new.
    
    

Timesheets

• Additional filter on Job picker:
  An additional filter, Profit Centre, has been added to the Job picker on Timesheets.

  For sites with many job codes, and users working, briefly, for specific Profit Centres, this will help a great deal in narrowing down projects where they are not familiar with the codes.

System Setup

• Cost Category on GL Accounts:
  Setting a Cost Category in an existing GL account record was not saving the change. This has been rectified.

Administration

• Licences
  Data Entry licence now includes access to the EBA sitemap items. Note that for a user to access the EBA sitemap items it requires:

  • appropriate licence,

  • EBA Admin permission (new from this release),

  • have the sitemap items included in the Sitemap profile.
    
    

• Data Imports

  • Plant Issues import - when the New Batch button is clicked on the Plant Issues import, the Create Batch popup was presented behind the Data Import popup screen, which made it difficult to configure the new batch details. This has been fixed.

Integration

Upvise 

• Upvise Plant Movements - sort by move date when importing:
  When importing plant movements from Upvise to Workbench they are now imported ordered by date in ascending order so the latest movement will always be imported last to ensure the plant item always has the correct last location.
