How to setup the periods

 

User document: Period End Maintenance

 Instructions

  1. Go to Month End \ Period End Maintenance

  2. Ensure the Current Year is the Financial Year that you are in.

  3. Click on Create Periods button to add new period(s) when necessary.

  4. Click on lines details to edit the Period name, End date and Time end date (specifically for Timesheets) when applicable.

  5. Enter the current period which is the current month number in the Current Year.

  6. Click on the relevant categories within each period to close them. Be cautious, as closing the wrong category or period can result in them being locked. All future periods should be closed. It’s not recommended unless you are certain of the action.

  7. Click on Save button to complete.
