Timesheets

Overview:

Timesheets entered in Upvise interface with Workbench Timesheets. The timesheets app in Upvise can be used for individuals to enter their own time and submit it for approval, or to view timesheets data collected in the Daily Diary Forms.

You can use the Time Logs view to see entered time in a weekly calendar format, and Planned Schedule to schedule employee hours, and even send notifications to the employees using the SMS feature (SMS licence is required).

Screen Guide:

The Dashboard displays visual statistics and graphs to let you know how time is tracking at a glance. You can use the tabs to change how the data is displayed, and you can drill into the underlying data in several places by clicking on the desired line.

On this screen you can see entered hours, and you can change the view to Day, Week, or Month.

Each entry can be click and dragged to move it to another user or day. You can log new time using the + icon in the menu.

Here we can plan intended work schedules for our employees based on a Day, Week, or Month view.

You can add new planned work either by clicking the + icon in the menu, or clicking directly on the calendar grid to save time. Time is colour-coded to blue for working time and red for leave time. You can put work in the Unassigned user first while planning out the schedule, then drag the work to the desired person.

Once you finish assigning work, you can notify one or all of the users by clicking the three dot icon and selecting Notify Users. You can then select the user (including all users) with a message for them to receive.

This feature shows all Timesheets for your user, split into Draft Timesheets, ones that have been Submitted, and ones that have been Approved.

Clicking on any of these lines navigates you to the selected timesheet details, allowing you to update them (if allowed) or view the contents.

From here you can review the timesheet by the overall Report, a By Day breakdown, and History including any signatures and requests.
