Overview:
This provide a logs provides list related to plant i.e. where the selected job on the log is a plant item. This list retains the basic Log attributes with Plant and Group as identifying fields, but has a plant maintenance centric display with data related the routine servicing of plant.
Plant related Logs have previously been included together with other Service Desk logs. This list introduces a clear distinction between plant maintenance related Logs from service logs raised in context of the service desk module.
Screen Guide:maintenance and you can now find these under the Plant module together with all the other Plant screens. This screen includes:
Generate a new log by dragging and dropping emails. Refer to Service logs

Clicking on the Log Number will drill into the Plant Log. The two colour coding regimes are shared with the Service Desk, read about it here.
General tab this is the default loading tab. It includes:
Log No: log ID
Created date
Plant item is a required data.
Plant group
Service type: list of common types:
Scheduled service
Unplanned service
Accident damage
Improvement/modification
Other
Priority
Work instructions: any instruction might have.
Status:
Allocated
Complete
Finalized
In progress
Open
Scheduled
Workflow status
Allocated to: name an assignee.
Location: Location of Plant
Start due: scheduled date of the service
Completion due: scheduled date that the service should be completed.

Date/reading: where you can record the correspondence detail:

Parts Required/ Ordered / Received: These are memos. Select the appropriate checkbox for reference.
