Overview:
The Bulk Leave Creation Screen provides the facility for Users who have been given access to the Screen to select Users and Request Leave for all those included in the List.
If the Leave Type has the 'Auto Approve' set the Requested Leave may also be Approved when the request is created. All done at the same time with the click of a button.
Note: When creating statutory leave for staff please ensure leave requests are for single days. If the statutory leave requests extend over a weekend this can conflict with Annual leave requests.
The List is restricted to a Location which may be further filtered by
Full Name
Financial Company
Profit Centre
Timesheet Group
Screen Guide:
The limiting by Location facilitates the selection of a 'Statutory' Leave Type where the Statutory Day (entered via Statutory Holiday Maintenance by Location) is common for all People included in the List.
When the Leave Type has 'Statutory' set, the existence of any Statutory Days entered in the 'Statutory Holidays' table is ignored and Timesheets Lines are generated on Approval.
Select the Location to show a list of people that belong to this location. Then use the filters if needed to reduce the displayed list. Tick the Selected column for those that will have a Leave request created, then select 'Create Bulk From Selected'
Complete Leave Request as normal.
If the Leave Type has 'Auto Approve' set, the User has the option of either selecting a Bulk Request or Bulk Approve.
Bulk Request will create the requests and a review/approval step is still needed by the appropriate people.
If Bulk Approve is selected, the leave requests will be created and approved at the same time, creating the corresponding Timesheet entries.
