Overview
An Inspection Test Plan (ITP) is a document that outlines the steps and procedures for the inspection and testing of a particular product or project. It is a comprehensive plan that includes all the necessary details about the testing and inspection process, such as the type of tests to be conducted, the equipment to be used, the criteria for acceptance or rejection of the product, and the frequency of testing.
An ITP is typically developed by a quality control team or a project manager to ensure that the product or project meets the required standards and specifications. The plan helps to identify any potential issues or defects in the product or project, and it provides a framework for corrective actions to be taken if any problems are identified.
ITPs are commonly used in a variety of industries, including construction, manufacturing, and engineering. They are essential for ensuring that products and projects meet the required quality standards and specifications and that they are safe for use.

These details are defaulted in the ITP module. Additional fields can be added to the activity template however the existing fields are required to be maintained for the application defaults to function. |

2. ITP Application Set-Up
The ITP application aids as a source of defaults for Tasks and Activities that commonly are required for ITP process documentation.
Tasks:
Tasks are used to Group related activities
Activities:
Activities are used to define the detail of the activity, and the evidence required as a default to demonstrate that the work has been completed. These set the default on the ITP form when created on a project.
If you are using ITC’s, the ITC template can be defined also as a default.
