New Features

Jobs

  • Job Maintenance - Separate Activity Groups are now supported for Budget and Forecast for all three Job creation methods - manually, masterfile copy, and templates. This limits the activity codes available for budget and forecast purposes distinctly from cost activities. Previously only the Cost activity could be specified.

Feature Revisions

Contracts

  • Contract Enquiry Budget
    • It is now possible to add a budget directly from the Contract Enquiry - Budget tab. Previously the entry point to budget was only from the Job List ellipsis menu.
    • Budgets Claim Schedule lines can now be created from the Budget by selecting the relevant lines and selecting the target claim schedule. Note that what budget lines were used in not tracked by the system and is the responsibility of the user.

  • Contract Enquiry Forecast - The Forecast Period picker has been reformatted to display the refresh date of any respective period forecasts.

  • Retention Detail - The grid details on initial definition of a Step By Value Retention did not display the first time although the data was correctly saved. This has been corrected.

Jobs

  • Job Details - On ticking Close of a job, the user is now prompted with a Close Sub Job checkbox that will also close all sub jobs. A similar action occurs with Finalise that prompts to finalise all sub jobs. On the inverse, on un-ticking a closed job, the user is prompted to Un-close Sub Jobs as well; and similarly for un-finalise.

  • Price Codes - The currency on the labour tab will now default to the system currency in order reduce the chance of creating a price code of the incorrect currency. Previous the currency defaulted to the first alphabetical currency and the user would be required to explicitly select a currency.

  • Job Work Centre - The Job work centres display has been rectified on Purchase Order lines, Job enquiry Orders tab, and Work Order lines. Previously the default Work Centre description was displayed rather than the custom description if there was one.

Work Breakdown

  • Activity Details - A "General" cost category will be introduced if one doesn't already exist; and all activities without a cost category will be initialised to "General".

Billing

  • Job Invoice Get Sales - The Schedule dropdown to list on Claim Based Get Sales screen has been modified to list approved AND unapproved schedules; and not only approved as previously. This has been to allow easier billing of variations. The Schedule dropdownis updated to show the approval state for clarity.

Purchasing

  • Purchase Order Detail - The Purchase Order number creation has been updated to use the values displayed onscreen for Location or Profit Centre as applicable. Previously is was dependent solely on the user's setting for these fields; although typically the PO and user values of the fields would be the same.

Datasheets

  • Datasheets Detail - You can now attach files to datasheets using the Attachments button on the bottom. This open a full functionality Attachments popup.

Daily Diary

  • Timesheet Group Jobs - A screen is now available for setup of Timesheet Group Jobs under Setup - General which is required to complete the setup for Daily Diary on WebWB. This was previously unavailable as all Daily Diary was setup from the MDE.

Service Desk

  • Log Maintenance - TheStatus filter has been updated to display all available filters; previously it was displaying a limited set of status values.

Plant

  • Plant Item - The "Driver" and "Driver Move Date" fields are now optional on Plant items. This was previously mandatory although it may not have applied to some plant items.

Reporting

  • Report Type - Two additional report type criteria controls have been introduced - Job Status and Charge Type.

Administration

  • User Details - EmployeeNo and Employee Class are now mandatory for people indicated as employees. No change is incurred on existing data that does not meet these criteria. These will be validated at the next record save action.
  • GST Type Detail  - GST Types must now be explicitly associated to Accounts Rceivable and / or Payable for the type to display in the respective contexts. The initial upgrade will make all existing GST type available in both context as per current behaviour if no flag has been set i.e. first time only. These flags should be reviewed for an appropriate setup.
  • License Management - The user Site Map (menu) is now automatically filtered according to their licensing to prevent obvious error message. So although a user's site map may diminish, they would not have been able to access those modules anyway.

  • Setup Wizard - The "Week 1 End Date" control parameter can now be set from the Setup Wizard in the Timesheet section.

Integration

  • API - The APInvoices.APReference column is now exposed to the API.
