C. Save Item appends the the current line to the Summary, that is equivalent to the grid lines of the desktop view.
D. Clear Item is just a convenient means of resetting the current Line Detail fields.
E. The Summary section is equivalent to the grid lines of the desktop view, with a sub -section per grid line.
F. The Edit button displays the selected sub-section (grid line) in the Line Details section for editing.
G. The Copy button copies the selected sub-section (grid line) into the Line Details section for editing, and on Save Item a new sub-section (grid line) will be added to the Summary.
H. The Delete button remove this sub-section (grid line) from the Summary, and this will be delete on the expense claim Save in step K.
I. The footer section displayed a total of the expenses claimed for the date.
J. Clears the record for the date.
K. Saves the General header and expense claim lines for the date.
Feature Revisions
General
My Approvals List - This has been enhanced to support filtering for a specified user to see their approval items if the logged in user has the ‘Allow Approval List Filtering’ permission, which is granted to the Administrator role by default. When this filter is available it continues to default to the current user.
Timesheets
Timesheet -
A control parameter 'Validate Timesheet Start and End Times' can now be used to enforce system-wide validation that Start and End time cannot be overlapping. The default is No (or blank), which is current behaviour.
Timesheet lines that are Manager approved i.e. checked-off from the Daily Approval screen will now be locked from further editing, this includes Timesheets related to Logs and Daysheets.
Purchasing
Job Procurement List -
Rectified an issue where the header job instead of the procurement line job was being used for all PO lines created.
Enhanced the usability behaviour when modifying the supplier based on the underlying catalogue line.
Purchase Order - An additional validation is added on the save to check for finalised jobs on the PO lines to cater for lines copied from another PO.
Inwards Goods - Inwards Goods attachments have been updated to associate directly to the Inwards Goods record where previously they would have been associated to the receipted PO record. For backward compatibility the receipted PO attachments are listed on the Attachments popup Related tab.
Image List - Rectified an issue introduced in 4.4.37 that prevented the Training Status to be correctly set to COMPLETE.
Image Editor - An additional database constraint has been added to ensure there cannot be a duplicate download of extracted image invoices.
AP Voucher - The ‘Stock Receipted’ tab that is available when using the new Stock module had been enhanced to support ‘Completing’ the respective PO line being processed.
Jobs
Budget - The non-editable ‘Default Sell’ column has been added with an editable ‘Markup’ column. THis will provide a view of the typical sell value and means of adjusting the markup percentage.
Work Breakdown
Claim Schedules - Validation is added to prevent inadvertently setting a line as its own parent in Manual Ordering mode.
Billing
Job Sales Invoices, General - Updated to list files for related record types of both JobInvoice (Web) and ARInvoice (MDE) for MDE compatibility, but web will continue to attach using JobInvoice.
Job Sales Invoices, Claim Based - The Claim Date functionality that was Beta Released in 4.4.34 is now standard.
The enhancement distinguishes between Claim Date, which is when the initial claim is raised on the client; and Posting (Invoice) Date, which is when the certified claim is finalised with the client, and the invoice is posted to the financials. The Posting (Invoice) Date may hence be several months later and in a different period from the original Claim Date.
A. The ‘Claim Date’ is displayed, previously being labelled ‘Claim Submitted Date’ in the Dates section. It is now more evident in the header and also defaulted based on the control parameter 'Default Job Invoice Date', and is editable.
B. The ‘Posting (Invoice) Date’ was previously labelled 'Invoice Date’. Running the Contract Claim Accruals will change the Posting Date, and YearNo and PeriodNo to the next period, and lock the Claim Date. The The Posting Date is also updated on certification and used when posting to financials.
Daily Diary
Daysheets List -
A control parameter ‘Daysheet Entry Mode’ is available to configure the desired data entry behaviour with the following options:
All Jobs (Default) - The header job is optional to allow the selection of any job. If it is specified, then the job and it’s subjobs may be selected, as well as any open Admin jobs, accounting for profit centre groups. This is to allow leave entries to be recorded.
Specified Job - A header job is mandatory, and only that job and subjobs may be selected.
Specified plus Admin Jobs - A header job is mandatory, and the job and subjobs may be selected, as well as open Admin jobs, accounting for profit centre groups.
The Import button is now a multi-select listing imports with ImportHeaders.DocType='Daysheet' to support custom import for on-premise clients.
Dockets tab - the editing behaviour is tweaked for usability especially after duplicating a line.
Timesheets tab - Breaks and EBA Profile support is added as per standard timesheets, and the editing behaviour is tweaked for usability especially after duplicating a line.
Plant tab - The plant selection now enforces Plant Locations if specified in the user Profit Centre Groups, and the editing behaviour is tweaked for usability especially after duplicating a line.
Outputs tab - Rectified filtering of outputs for the selected schedule, and tweak usability.
Stock tab - Rectify a workcentre description issue.
Datasheets
Datasheet List -
Rectified an issue with the Plant filter not returning the full result set.
The Assignee picker now also displays the respective company of those listed.
Expense Claims
My Expenses - Support for line level attachments has been added. Click the paperclip in edit mode (green line) to upload your attachment with the usual Attachments popup.
Administration
Setup Wizard - Changing the currency in the wizard used to display a prompt for whether all companies, price codes, and job should be updated to the new currency but this was not noticeable enough so this extended functionality is removed and only the system currency is now updated.
Integration
Upvise
Timesheet - Non daily diary upvise forms can now cater for a timezone field if added to the form template i.e. this applies to any existing client forms for time entry that are not daily diary, typically for custom purposes. All the Daily Diary forms are deployed with the timezone field already in place.
