Overview:
Organisations may wish to create different Daily Diary Dashboard Buttons for different Projects (Jobs).Workbench provides this functionality through multiple Profiles to which a Project (Jobs) may be assigned
Overview:
Metadata Editor is only used with legacy Daily Diary module (not Upvise) and with Legacy Human Resources module. Neither module is supported anymore. Both have been replaced by functionality on Upvise.
Screen Guide:
i. Create a new EAV
(Entity Attribute Values) Class
Metadata Editor select 'Add Class'
enter Code and Name (no spaces in Code)
. Save.
Add Attributes by selecting 'Attributes'
. Attributes lines become the columns on a screen
. Select attribute type
Select 'Lookup Code' if attribute type 'Lookup' had been selected

enter Code, without any spaces
enter Name
enter Priority, the sequence the line will appear as a column on the screen
enter/tick other appropriate fields
ii. Create a new Profile
Dashboard Management from Setup - Daily Diary Setup - Daily Diary Dashboard Maintenance
select 'New Profile'enter 'Profile' Name'. It is vital that you maintain the naming convention of ‘WebDaysheet’[JobCode] save
the Profile has lines from the 'default' Profile attached automatically
hide lines (buttons) that have been populated from the default profile by un-ticking 'visible'
add the new Class set up in i. above by selecting it from the 'page' dropdown list and entering 'name'
save
Url on bottom right is automatically populated from the Class record = ~/Tablet/TabletEAV.aspx/GetByClass?wbClassId=99
iii. Assign Jobs to Profile
with the Profile displayed, select Jobs (optionally, select Job in Filter)
tick 'selected' save
Observe that the Job(s) has been added by changing and re-applying the filters
iv. Effect in Daily Diary
Observe that the Columns on the Sub Contractor Button align with the Attributes on the new Class
a. Default Profile
b. New Profile
If the User changes the Job Number in the Header, the User is returned to the Dashboard
Populate new Profile
Print Report
From Workbench Dashboard (or any Daily Diary Screen) with Print Daysheet
Select ‘Print Daysheet’ (or ‘Print All’)
save
