Upcoming changes on Contract Claim Payment certificates:

Up untill now, Workbench standard Contract Claim Payment certificates have a section called Contract Summary, where the Budgets' values display. However, this section only includes Budget types Original Contract and Approved Variations. Any other budget types are not included. Moreover, if the Contract does not have a budget, this Contract Summary section would display $0.

We have decided to change the Contract Summary section to get the Original Contract and Variations from the Contract Claim Schedules instead.

Original Contract section: Will include Schedule type = Original Contract
Plus Approved Variations section: Will be renamed to ‘Plus Variations’ and will include any other Schedule types that are not Original Contract.

If you have a custom report, these changes should not affect your custom report.

Upvise

Upvise is releasing updates to

enhance performance and security

1. URL CHANGE: As a first step in the server update, the URL to access Upvise on the web (PC) will change from https://www.upvise.com/uws to https://s3.upvise.com

   1. Web users will be automatically redirected to the new URL, however will be redirected to log in again.

   2. Where you have bookmarked the Upvise URL in your browser, please update this to https://s3.upvise.com

2. MOBILE APP UPDATE: Mobile users will need to update their Upvise Mobile application available from 5th February to ensure Upvise is usable. Old application versions will no longer be usable after 1st May.

   1. Note: by default, the app update mechanism should update their apps in the background seamlessly.

3. DLL Update (Integration): Workbench will be updating the UpviseClient DLL to v3.0 as part of this upgrade (Available in release v4.6.25).

4. Public Form URLs and PowerBI/Sharperlight export URLs will change, OLD URLs continue to work seamlessly during the transition period however clients should gradually migrate over to the new URL.

From 5th February

Before 1st May 2024...

• On-premise clients will be required to upgrade to Workbench version 4.6.25 or later. Clients hosted in AWS will be upgraded automatically.

• Download latest Upvise mobile app v7.0

• Bookmark the new Upvise url: https://s3.upvise.com

• New Android and iOs Upvise app (v7.0) available with the new URL built-in available on AppStore and Google Play

From 19th February

• Client DLL v3.0 is expected to be available in Workbench General Release v4.6.25

• On-premise clients will be required to upgrade to this version before 1^st May 2024.

From 1st May:

• All users should have upgraded to the latest version of Upvise on mobile and UpviseClient DLL.

• Public Form URL and PowerBI Link should already be migrated to the new URL.Re-generate Public Form URLs and PowerBI/Sharperlight export URLs
