Timesheets

  • Both SAVE buttons (the one on the top and the one on the bottom of the page) are grayed out after the first click from the user to either one or the other. This is to avoid any duplicate lines, in the case the user clicks both buttons.

  • Back/Save/New line buttons on Timesheets: Now if a user goes into timesheet through a Closed and Complete timesheet, and then navigates to a new timesheet or an existing one that is 'open', the buttons that will be available are the 3 buttons for an Open and uncompleted timesheet (Back/Save/New line), rather than the ones that were originally available when first going in to the closed timesheet  (which is only the Back button).

On the other hand, when a user goes into a timesheet through an 'Open' timesheet, and then navigates to a 'Complete and Approved' existing timesheet , the button that will be available is only the Back button, rather than the ones that were originally available when first going in to the 'Open' timesheet (Back/Save/New line).

  • When entering negative hours in Web timesheets, Control Parameter: 'Notes On Negative Values' will control if a note must be entered or not.

                 - If set to Yes then validate notes on negative values.

                 - If set to No, no notes are needed when entering negative values.

Datasheets

When opening a Datasheet from a User (in User List, Datasheet tab), a Company (from Company List, Datasheet tab), or Job (from Jobs List, Datasheet tab), the datasheet will now be opened in a new tab of the same browser, so it is easier to go back to where the user was before opening it.

Emailing Reports

An Email button has been added to the Report Rendering screen.  This enables the displayed report to be emailed as a PDF attachment to a specified email address.  The format of the email is provided with a template named "Report - {Report Name}" (where {Report Name} is the name of the SSRS report), or "Report - Default" if that is not specified.

E-mail templates for the reports can be found under 'Configuration' --> 'Template Management'
