Attendance App

Attendance App

Overview

The Attendance App within Upvise enables accurate and real-time attendance tracking for employees working across decentralised project sites. It offers both manual check-in options for individuals and a bulk scanning process for project managers to quickly record attendance at scale. Each check-in captures the employee’s GPS location, which is viewable within the attendance list. The location of the check in is compared against the project address so you can verify the validity of the check in. At the end of the day, this data can be reviewed and compiled into a formal daily attendance report by the project manager on site.

Benefits:

Project-Based Attendance: Unlimited check-ins/outs linked to specific projects across multiple locations and devices.

Increased Visibility: Input Based tracking of employee movement based on real-time check-in actions.

Enhanced Compliance: Complete attendance logs to help support site compliance and simplify audits.

Integration with Workbench: Attendance syncs to Workbench for timesheet comparison and auditing.

Getting Started:

To begin using the Attendance App:

Ask your Workbench Consultant to organise the installation of the Attendance App, Attendance Forms, and Workbench Central on your Upvise site.

Before enabling check-in, ensure all project site addresses are set and geo-coded. The geo-code is important for the validation of the Attendance record against the project location later in the process.

  1. In Workbench, navigate to Job Maintenance > Addresses Tab.

Use Workbench Central to configure your employee QR codes via the QR Code setting.

  • The Body section can be used to include a disclaimer, safety message, or terms of use.

  • The Footer is optional and may contain your company name, core values, or other branding.

  • Rows determine how many QR codes appear vertically per page in the generated PDF.

  • Columns determine how many QR codes are displayed horizontally per page.

Once configured, export and print the QR codes for distribution to employees.
