Upvise SMS Sender ID Changes (AU) - 1 July 2026

Due to upcoming ACMA regulatory changes effective 1 July 2026, Workbench will no longer support client-specific/custom SMS Sender IDs within the standard Workbench-managed SMS gateway.

To maintain compliance and ensure reliable SMS delivery, all SMS messages sent via Upvise will use a registered Workbench International Sender ID.

Clients currently using branded/custom sender names may observe changes to the displayed SMS sender following this update. SMS Sender ID Register | ACMA

Fixes & Technical changes

Workbench

  • Jobs list - underwent performance review, especially when paging.

  • AP Invoice - Amended the Confirm Purchase Order popup to displays the Line Description and Details fields that were missing.

  • Plant list - Fixed the ‘New Plant’ by duplication as these were not displayed in some Plant pickers e.g. Timesheet plant.

  • Labour Dashboard - The Labour Dashboard has been updated to display the Hours by Time Activity Sub Type and Period chart to a stacked area graph as the overlapping in the previous area graph could hide the data.

    image-20260607-214739.png

This provides improved visibility of labour distribution across - Admin, Charge, Leave, No Charge, and Other; and makes it easier to analyse labour activity trends over time.

  • Quotes - Fixed the Cost Sheets tab to display by Sequence and enabled grid header sorting.

  • Job Scheduler - The drag-drop allocation experience has been refined as users dropping multiple allocations quickly experienced “lost allocations” when the chart refreshed.

  • Work Groups - Access to this setup is now extended to Job Costing licence. It is complemented by an "Edit Work Groups" permission to support more granular access.

  • Job Transaction Transfer - Invoiced transactions can no longer be transferred, even when using the "Transfer All Filtered Transactions" option, as this creates a data integrity issue.

Workbench GO

  • Fixed weekly standard-hours fallback logic so the default pattern is applied in the expected Monday-to-Friday order.

  • Fixed alternating-week handling so Week 1 or Week 2 can remain intentionally empty without being overwritten by fallback defaults.

  • Fixed plant job/work centre lookup behaviour so non-plant-time lines do not receive an unintended selected plant item.

  • Fixed an integration issue where timecodes were not populating correctly

  • Fixed forms that were returning a required field error upon submission.

Upvise

  • Recurring Jobs list – Handle an issue when generating the recurring jobs list where a Job Master form with missing required fields like "Frequency" or "Valid Days" would break the process. The process now skips over forms with missing or invalid data and continues processing the rest.
