Enhancements

Jobs list

  • The Jobs list custom views have been enhanced. The current base Job attributes are extended with additional columns to provide further financial perspectives to jobs in terms of ‘Job Margins Analysis’ and ‘Job Performance’. Where there are sub-jobs then the parent job values present an aggregate to the parent job level. The new fields are also available in the ‘Data Dump’ view for export.

SMS Enhancements

  • Enhanced SMS functionality now supports company name flexibility, allowing clients to configure the SMS sender name using the SMS Company control parameter. This enables SMS messages to display the desired company name. This enhancement is available for Australian clients only. New Zealand mobile networks do not currently support custom SMS sender names.

  • SMS capabilities have also been expanded with the addition of new placeholders for Equipment and Owner fields within Job-related SMS messages. This improves communication clarity for field teams and reduces the need to manually add this information to individual SMS messages.

Equipment Punches Report (Merged PDF Output)

Added a new Equipment Punches reporting enhancement that allows multiple punch items to be exported into a single merged PDF document. Previously, punch items generated individual PDFs, requiring manual consolidation.

This enhancement streamlines reporting by automatically compiling selected Open punch items into one document.

Fixes & Technical changes

Workbench

  • Job Maintenance - amended the testing for mandatory job attributes as there were false negative errors displayed.

  • Contract Enquiry - The Forecast drill-in to the Expected Commitment popup previously would not show future PO receipts (AP Invoices) if the Work Centre was changed on the AP Invoice lines. This scenario is now catered for.

  • Daysheet -

    • On Timesheet tab, if Job Code is changed, the Activity and Work Centre are cleared if they are not included in the Job’s respective groups to prevent invalid transaction coding.

    • Fixed an issue where imported dockets could not be deleted on screen.

  • Procurement List - The List tab now includes a 'Latest Comment Is' = Done / Not Done filter to simplify identifying line with Comments still to be actioned.

  • AP Voucher - A control parameter ‘AP Voucher Added Attachments’ is supported with the options ‘InwardsGoods' and/or 'PurchaseOrder’, the default is blank. This indicated whether all the attachment on the related documents are copied through on vouchering a PO line. These attachments will then pass through to the AP Invoice and to the financial system.
If the control parameter is set then a warning is displayed if there are no attachments.

  • Plant Log -

    • The plant log timesheet now has an independent grid 'Plant Log Timesheet’ grid to allow different configuration from a Service Log timesheet that continues to use the ‘Log Maintenance Timesheet’ grid.

    • Plant log budgets now support the Catalogue line type. This is implemented in the Plant Log Template, Advanced service log instancing, and PO creation.

  • Plant Classes - Selecting another Group can make the Schedule invalid so the Schedule is now cleared when the Group is changed.

  • Plant Meter Reading import (wbImportPlantMeterReadings) - An import is added to bulk load meter reading with an optional reading Type. The anticipated use is the bulk initialisation of the last Service reading for related plant so that the Next Service fields can be displayed.

  • Quote - Added a new setting "Default Quotation Expiry Days" available at all levels (Global, FinCo, Location, Profit Centre). It defaults the quote Expiry Date using the number of days after the Created Date of the quote if an Expiry Date is not already specified or is Created Date is changed.

  • Docket Batch - The docket batch report has been updated to populate the Docket Number and Supplier correctly when the new docket accrual process is being used.

  • Docket Reconciliation - A Batch No column is now available and also supported as a filter.
