  • Plant List - Updated the ‘Next Service’ column to accommodate both the Standard Service frequency and also Advanced Service schedules. It was displaying 0 when the Advanced Service schedule was not defined.

  • Plant Log - Aligned the Plant Log reading validation to use datetime as it was displaying an error message when a reading was already recorded for the date.

Upcoming Functionality & News

 

Workbench API Licence - Effective from 2 March in v4.8.5

The Workbench API is now available on the Purchased Licences tab of the Licence Matrix. Formal license validation will only be applied from March 2026 i.e. 2 March in 4.8.5.

If you are currently using the Workbench API but are not licensed then we recommend purchasing the ‘Web API’ Licence.
If unlicensed connections are detected Support will contact the client for clarification.

 

Enhancements

Resource Scheduling

  • Job Scheduler - implemented auto enlarge of chart bars when using Display Days of 7 or less. This is based on premise that these are short allocations and so the text may require additional bar height for readability.

Administration

  • MYOB Acumatica, Job Sales Invoice Receipts - The inbound integration has been enhanced to support a scenario where the receipts are not made in the original invoice currency. Previously payments were assumed to be in the invoice currency.

 

Fixes & Technical changes

Workbench

  • Insurances & Certificates list - fixed the navigation to User Documentation

  • Daysheets list -

    • added Header Job conditions for: ≠ and ‘is one of’, and added an ‘Include Subjobs’ filter

    • optimised search performance on list when using Line Job filter

  • Plant - added the expense DR GL Account field to the Plant’s Details tab

  • Quotes -

    • fix testing of mandatory Extension Columns.

    • fixed sorting of cost sheet lines

  • Upvise Integration -

    • Leave Requests - Fix the Leave Request sync to account for holidays defined in Workbench to adjust the leave days. Since holidays are not defined in Upvise, the leave application in Upvise will remain as-is.

    • Daily diary optimisations made to remove the dependency of timeslots to sync time- where a timeslot has failed to generate on a daily diary form the time will sync to workbench using form data.

  • Reports -

    • Job Summary Revenue and Costs by Activity - updated the surplus calculation
