Workbench API Licence - NOW AVAILABLE
The Workbench API is now available on the Purchased Licences tab of the Licence Matrix. Formal license validation will only be applied from March 2026 i.e. 2 March in 4.8.5.
If you are currently using the Workbench API but are not licensed then we recommend purchasing the ‘Web API’ Licence, see below for details.
NEW Upvise Web Interface - Feb 10, 2026

Notice: Xtracta’s new learning screen to be released
The new Engine Learning Screen (ELS) from Xtracta will be released. It introduces several features to improve your document processing and training workflows and will replace the current screen for processing documents. This switch over will be in v4.8.4. Should you want to be an early adopter please contact your consultant or Workbench Support.
Xtracta will stop supporting the current screen.
Although the basic processes will be familiar, we encourage you familiarize yourself with the new interface and its capabilities to make the most of the new features. You can review the user documentation [here].
Enhancements
Leave Management
My Leave Requests - Has been enhanced to support multiple leave requests per day for leave less than a day, where previously any additional leave would be marked as “Duplicate Date”. Now the leave request(s) are valid as long as the sum of the leave hours are less or equal to the work hours. Any additional leave requests will still be marked as “Duplicate Date”.
General
Send Email, Attachments - The file attributes for attachments now indicates the document and its key. In the image below from a Job Invoice we see the attachments on related Job and Logs are identified, and these attribute are also searchable.

Functional Adjustments
Pagination and navigation tools moved to the top-right toolbar
The company name is now displayed in the left pane under the logo
Company branding has been enhanced so your company colour now applies to the left-hand menu selection, providing a more consistent look and feel across the application.
Note: In the new UI, the top banner colour is now standardised and is no longer configurable.Global user filtering has been deprecated and replaced with owner-based filters within relevant table and calendar list views.

Required Action
To ensure branding displays correctly in the new UI, please re-upload your company logo:

Recommended size: 600px wide
Preview Available
Users can preview and enable the new UI via the Account icon in the top-right of the toolbar.

Jobs - Archive Search Enhancements
The search functionality in the Jobs archive has been enhanced to include the linked Project & Equipment as a search option:

Forms - Question Field “Add + button for comment and picture”
A new option has been added to the Question field: “Add + button for comment and picture.” When enabled, a + icon appears next to the toggle options, allowing users to quickly add a comment and one or more photos directly against their response.
This all-in-one Question field reduces the need for separate comment or photo fields when notes or images are commonly required alongside question answers.
Forms - Templates Subform Status
Disabled form templates can no longer be created when they are linked within another form.
If a Subform template is set to Disabled, the Subform button will not display during data entry. This ensures that only active form templates can be used by end users.
Example scenario
A Subform template has Status = Disabled
The disabled Subform template is still linked within a parent form template

When creating or editing the parent form, the Subform button does not appear
Users cannot launch or create records using the disabled Subform template
