Overview:

The Jobs and Plant Map provides a configurable map of job and/or plant locations derived from the Jobs List or Plant List. The key features are:

• Job locations based on Site Address

• Plant locations based on manual Job selection or VisionLink telematics

• Standard map control i.e. panning, zooming, location clusters

• Jobs and Plant specific display and filtering

• Context specific Job and Plant markers with tooltips

• Configurable Job and Plant popup via Settings

Entry to the map from the Jobs list or Plant Items list sets the initial display to either Jobs or Plant respectively, the specific layer being the last selected, and also pre-filters the selection to match the source list. It is optional to show both Jobs and Plant, and to amend the filtering on the map as required.

Screen Guide - Jobs:

Job Layer

• Enabled on entry from the Jobs list, the specific layer being the last selected

• Layer options to display Job location pins as:

  • None - use the static green colour

  • By Job Status - use the colour corresponding to the Job's status i.e. Open: Green; Invoiced: Blue; Closed: Grey

  • By Job Type - use the colour corresponding to the Job's Type refer Configuration

• Where many Jobs are close together for the zoom level a blue Job cluster pin with a count is shown

Job Filters

• The available Job filters match those of the Jobs list.

• On entry from the Jobs list the map pre-filters to match the Jobs list, but this can be amended.

Click on a Job to show the popup with Job details per:

Header

• Job Code : Job Description {link to job}

• Client company name

• Job Status

• Job Type per Configuration

Details per Settings

• Site Address

• Job Manager

• Account Manager

• Required Date

Configuration

• By Job Type colour defined by the Colour field on JobTypes which accepts HTML Extended Web Colours

• Job popup Details are as per the Settings panel

• Job location is sourced from the Job’s structured Site Address

Screen Guide - Plant:

Plant Layer

• Enabled on entry from the Plant Items list, the specific layer being the last selected

• Layer options to display Plant location pins as:

  • None - use the static orange colour

  • By Service Status - corresponding to the plant’s Service Status on Plant list

  • By Status - corresponding to the pPlant Job's status

• Where many Plant are close together for the zoom level an orange Plant cluster pin with a count is shown

Plant Filters

• The available Plant filters match those of the Plant Items list.

• On entry from the Plant Items list the map pre-filters to match the Plant list, but this can be amended.

Configuration

• Plant popup Details are as per the Settings panel

• Plant location is sourced from the latest data per:

  • The assigned Job’s Site Address ie. if control parameter ‘Plant Job Source’ = Manual

  • The last Telematic (VisionLink) sync data
