A Form can be made accessible at a web URL for public users, i.e where it can be filled in and submitted by non-Upvise users.

You can turn the URL for your public form into a QR code so you can print and maintain it on-site. Most browsers, such as google chrome, have inbuild QR code generators, otherwise, there are a number of websites where you can generate QR codes for free. An example of where a QR code may be useful is when you have a lot of people coming and going from a job site, and every time they enter they may need to complete a check-in form, print the QR code, stick it on the entry to the induction point of your job site (or with the site supervisor). Anyone with a mobile will be able to scan the code and fill in the form. |
To enable a Form for public access, edit the Form Template in your web account, and open the 'Sharing' tab. Click on Enable Public to get the URL of the page where the Form can be accessed publicly.

User case: You have created a public form and shared the link with your team, however after resetting your password, the URL has changed and your team can no longer access the form via the previous link. Why does the URL change? The Public Form URL is protected by a secure token that is associated with a specific user account in the database. If the user updates their credentials, such as by completing a password reset or changing their username, the token will also be updated, resulting in a change to the Public Form URL. To ensure stability of the URL, it is recommended to generate the URL from an account where the credentials are unlikely to be modified. |
