  • Purchase Order -The functionality introduced in this base release that limited the supplier based on the specified location has been refined. A new ctrl param ‘PO Supplier Location Limited’ is introduced to control the location-supplier limitation; the default being 'No'. This will  will drive the supplier suggestion list behaviour and whether the supplier popup location filter will default. As before, any supplier can be selected by opening the supplier search popup and removing the Location filter.

IMPORTANT

Δ Standard Roles - The new license aligned standard roles are now available. Note that the administrator role contains all permissions, such as view of Plant Jobs etc; so client users should be moved onto the appropriate roles to have appropriate views and features. See below for details.


Feature Revisions

General

  • Job Picker - The control parameter 'Search Jobs by Order Number' can now specify whether Order Number is used as one of the suggestion field criteria.

Timesheets

  • Daily Timesheet - The Plant Issue popup has been revised to be more intuitive by selecting issue transaction to create instead of un-selecting issues not to delete.

The revised issue process is therefore:

(A) Click the Plant link as usual to display the Plant Issue popup with all possible plant issues based on the default driver.
(B) Select the plant issue transaction required, whereas (C) previously the user un-selected the issues not to delete.
(D) Should the person not have an associated plant then use New Line to explicitly add a row.
(E)
When done click Save Plant to create the issue transaction.
(F) And save the timesheet.

  • Mobile Timesheet - An issue with Plant issues where the date was not defaulting correctly is rectified.
  • Daily Approval -
    • Sorting is now supported using the column header. Filters are now available for Job, Person, and Work Centre.
    • An issue where the original Work Centre description was displayed rather than the possibly updated description from Job Work Centre is rectified.
  • Timesheet Administration - now supports sorting based on the column headers.
  • Timesheet Message - An issue where a blank screen was displayed to the message recipient using the link is rectified with the appropriate message to obtain the required Timesheet Authority.

Purchasing

  • Purchase Requisition Workflow - The workflow schema functions Job Manager and Account Manager are now supported for PR schemas.
  • Purchase Order -
    • Approval of a PO now checks that there are no jobs with a Check Against Budget value of Enforce Budget that are over budget. If so, approval can only be made by a user with "Approve Over Budget POs" permission.
    • An issue where inactive Locations were included in the list is rectified.
    • The default supplier list is now limited to the specified location, but can be overridden by opening the supplier search popup and removing the Location filter.
  • AP Voucher List - The Reason field is now available as a column and as a filter. It is hidden by default as must be enabled in grid management under the VoucherList grid.
  • AP Voucher -
    • A Line Code column is now available on PO Lines tab to display further information for PO lines using catalogue items, and also available as an entry column on This Voucher tab to support coding with catalogue items. Note these columns are hidden by default and if required, they must be enabled in grid management on the VoucherPoLineList and VoucherDetail grids.
    • Vouchers with duplicate invoice numbers can now be Cancelled, Declined or Sent Back. Previously a validation rule was preventing these actions.
    • A Reason list field is now available on the voucher header. These options may be configured on the Status List under the 'Voucher Reasons' type. This field is always editable and exempt from the 'Voucher Header Edit' permission.
    • Completed POs are now omitted from the PO picker on the PO Lines tab.
    • Where the previous voucher + this voucher + invoiced exceeds the original PO commitment the remaining calculation continues to display the excess (as a negative) and the line will highlight in red as it does on This Voucher tab.
  • AP Voucher Workflow - A 'Voucher Header Edit' permission is added to limit edit to header fields during the workflow process. The permission is in the global role General by default. If this limitation is required then the permission should be removed from the global role General and explicitly allocated.
  • AP Invoice -
    • The AP Invoice header now includes a Comments field for any notes.
    • The attachment line can now be selected on approved AP invoices to view multi-line Details not visible in the grid.

Contracts

  • Contract Enquiry -
    • Forecast tab - The period selected will now be passed on to the drill through screens when clicking Actual Costs and Expected Commitments.
    • Cashflow Spread - An issue when the spread button was clicked on the Cashflow Spread dialog is fixed.

Jobs

  • Job List - The Subcontracts and Contract options on the ellipsis are only available if the user is licensed for these modules.
  • Job Maintenance - The 'Enforce Budget' option has been reinstated for the Check Against Budget field for use at purchase approval.
  • Job Enquiry -
    • An issue on the Transactions tab where the Selling Quantity was being displayed rather than the Selling Value is rectified.
    • The Subcontracts and Contract buttons are only available if the user is licensed for these modules

Work Breakdown

  • Activity - Disbursement activity type now supports use of timecodes.
  • Activity Group - An Excel Export is now available from the Activities tab of an Activity Group popup.
  • Output Schedule - An issue regarding the length on content in the Details field is rectified.

Subcontracts

  • Subcontracts List - The Job picker search popup now includes the Open / Closed criteria for refined filtering.
  • Subcontract Claims tab - An inconsistency in the display of retention releases on the Claim tab is rectified. This was a display issue only.

Billing

  • Job Sales Invoice -
    • A 'Claim Submitted Date' field is now available to record this information in the Dates section.
    • The grid line Rate column now supports 3 decimal places.
    • The Sales Code is now editable on derived lines.
    • Assigning the Approval Required By will now have the option of notifying the approver as each invoice is assigned. This is in addition to the existing process that lists the invoice in the recipient My Approvals, and the daily reminder for the My Approvals list. The configuration is:
      • 'AR Invoice Approver Assigned Email'setting enable this notification at a global or recipient basis.
      • The respective email templates are 'Notification -  ArInvoiceApproval' and 'Notification -  ArCreditApproval'
  • Input Get Sales - The grid performance has been optimised to better cater for bulk operations ie. bulk Invoice, Defer, Write-Off and Uninvoice.
  • Claims Based Saled - An issue where subsequent claim to date values were not being updated when a Reset was performed on a prior invoice is rectified.

Daily Diary

  • Materials - An issue with lengthy Material Codes exceeding 20 characters has been rectified.

Plant

  • Plant Meters - An issue with pagination of the meter readings grid is resolved.

Stock

  • General - Stock and Purchase activities can now be used interchangeably for Stock Items and Stock Issues.
  • Stock Issue Batch - A Details column is now displayed on the Stock Issue Batch grid per issue.

Resource Scheduling

  • Job Scheduler & Job Schedule Viewer - The Plant, Stock, and Non-Stock job types, as defined by their respective control parameters, are now filtered out of these screens.

Leave Management

  • Leave Balance Import - A Leave Balance import is now available from Data Import to load data into the table LeaveBalance with columns - Person Full Name, Leave Type Description, As of date (today if empty), Balance in number of days.There are no parameters.

  • Written off transactions are now correctly treated 
  • Values from Forecasts are only used for the 'Forecast Revenue' method, otherwise values come from actuals and budgets directly
  • The Finalised WIP method handles the scenario where the job has been finalised in a future period

Administration

  • Site Map - This now supports associating a utility to a site map by:
    • Add a new Site Dictionary record with a Token in the form '/Admin/UtilityList.aspx?ProcedureId=17' where 17 would be the ProcedureId from the utility definition in the Procedures table.
    • Add this dictionary to the Site Map

    • wbUtilityChangeBatchNoAPInvoice - A utility is available to move an AP Invoice into another unexported batch in the same period.
    • wbRemoveTrainingProfitCentre - A utility to remove all data associated with jobs in a specified profit centre. This utility is to be used with the greatest care, and not without a backup being taken first. Data is removed from the following tables:

API

  • Stored Files - The ability to download files through the API is now available, refer StoredFilesApi and StoredFilesContentApi in the API.

Xero

  • The exporting for payroll timesheet batches now validates that employee numbers are unique.

MYOB

  • When an exception is raised, the FinCo is marked as not valid, and login and password removed from setting values.

Report Troubleshooting

  • An icon is now available to run a Dashboard report with a parameters section appended for troubleshooting.
  • Should a report appear incorrect but the defined filter criteria appear to be correct, then this method for viewing the report will display the data passed as parameters to the report procedure.
  • You may be requested to provide this information if logging a support call.
  • (A) Simply specify the filter criteria as per usual.
  • (B) But don't run the report by clicking the View button.
  • (C) Instead use the Cogs icon in the right of the title bar.
  • (D) Your report will have a Report Parameters section detailing all parameter values passed to the report procedure.

Report Auto Delete - Consultant Feature

  • When uploading a standard report to site before it is released, an ‘Auto Delete’ check box is provided.

  • If checked when uploading a report, this report will be deleted by a subsequent install process, if the report was uploaded more than 3 weeks before the release is installed.

  • The objective is to reset the client back to the standard report so that they receive any future report updates.
  • Note: It is not recommended for use with truly Custom reports.
