Xero

  • AR Credit Exports to Xero are now supported.and AP Credit Export Exports to Xero are now supported.
  • Workbench now populates PaymentTermsType and PaymentTermsDays when syncing Companies from Xero. These can be seen in the Financials tab of Company Details.

  • When posting AP Invoices to Xero, the <InvoiceNumber> is now populate populated with APInvoices.InvoiceRef + ‘-‘ + APInvoices. The APInvoiceID, rather than the other way around as it is at present. There are also implications for getting the APInvoiceID from the Payments entered in Xero. Probably need to cater for both the APInvoiceID at the start and at the end of the InvoiceRef in order to handle legacy data.

    Tracking

    which was previously encoded in the <InvoiceNumber> in order to provide matching of Payments back to Workbench, is no longer included.

  • Tracking Categories in Xero have been enhanced. Currently only the fixed ProfitCentre tracking category is supported.See /wiki/spaces/XEROAPI/pages/44619202
    • There are now 2 tracking categories that may be populated on exports, called Analysis1 and Analysis2. Analysis1 replaces ProfitCentre and Analysis2 is new.
    • On the Xero Config screen, add two settings for what these tracking categories are called in Xero.
    • Do not automatically create any tracking categories in Xero (I think we create Profit Centre currently) - they will be configured manually.
    • Also see if we can create the tracking category options on the fly. If we can then we can create them as needed automatically from the Analysis1 and Analysis2 values.: the Profit Centre as previously, and a new tracking category base on a Job Group specified on the job.
    • Tracking category options are now created on the fly, as required - there is no need to entered them in Xero in advance.
  • Inter-Company postings to Xero are now supported.  See /wiki/spaces/XEROAPI/pages/46847448
